This is a newer sector situated very close to the original Shaftimijgon sector, so both places can be visited in one day.

Getting there

20min drive from Dushanbe and 45min hike. First part of the trail is the same as for the Shaftimijgon sector.

Drive to 19 km of Varzob road and turn left to the parking lot near the mosque. Leave your car in the parking lot, cross the bridge leading to a village and walk up the bad steep trail that starts approx 20 meters after the bridge on the left side of the road.

Be careful with the first steep section of the trail. It is bad and have a lot of loose stones that can fall and hit someone on the road below.

Then follow the clear trail. Use GPS to avoid getting lost. Download track
