Iskanderkul

Picturesque location in a small grove next to the road. 10 minutes walk from the lake. Good for family outings. There is no source of good water nearby, so it is recommended to bring your water with you. Best season: spring and autumn. Summer is not too hot but there are a lot of mosquitoes.

There are 4 routes:

• 3 routes in the groove (5c, 6c, 6c)
• 1 multipitch route “L’oreille de Buddha” on top of the grove (go right around the crag)

How to get there

Pass the lake and drive further along the road towards Saritog until you see a junction. Go left across the river until you see a barrier. Turn left again on a bad road that leads towards the lake. Just before you reach the lake there will be a small grove on the right. It is easy to miss it, so use GPS.
